Hello Freelancing World!

Three cheers for this brand-spanking-new web blog. As the title of this web blog suggests, it’s a blog dedicated to people like myself, and you (since your search result must have landed you here), oh great Freelancing Individual (or would-be) you. Don’t let the term “Asia” throw you off, however. I figured that this particular blog was born and bred here in Asia, so we should give credit where credit is due. Still, Asia is one huge continent (an understatement since it’s the biggest), and further more, the world has become oh-so-small thanks to the online world and the technological marvels that turn obsolete faster than they are churned out. Nevertheless, all these things work in our favor. This, my brothers and sisters in the global freelance community, is why we thrive in the same way that we also exist.

So kick off your shoes and relax your feet… Wait a minute, you are a freelancer so you must be at home in your flipflops. What I’m trying to say is: Welcome to the blog. Let us make this online portal our place under the cyber sun to communicate our thoughts, to agree and disagree, share tips and advice, discuss our experiences, maybe savor the comfort of each other’s company, and most importantly- land a freelance job.

There is safety in numbers, so do drop in every so often. It can be lonely sometimes too, you know.
